#EverydayTranslations Day 3
‘Monologue’ was an accidental song. The melody came unannounced in a DM one day, from a young man, yet unknown. Sad, haunting, speaking of untold aches. The words that R put in them came from a dark place that we both share. Places like that remain stark in your memory, never to return again. It isn’t a love song, at any rate.
I generally do the subtitles immediately before they are live on the channel, but for this one, something had held me back. The memories, maybe. As I was looking for things to translate for today, this popped back at me. So here it is, a few scattered darknesses in us, translated.
